Zombie Head sculpt for Little Monsters

Here is the piece I did for the Little Monsters show that took place at Million Fishes Gallery this past weekend.

It's an original sculpt of a zombie head. I used a foam skull for the core and went from there. At about 8" tall it's one of the larger things I've done.

All of the pieces from the show can be purchased here until November 15th.

Dragatomi Not Vinyl Show

So, I'm currently working on a piece for Dragatomi's "Not Vinyl" show. I'll be sending a new one off version of the resin figure "Ammotus" I produced myself. I'm pretty excited as I've wanted to do this for a while but just haven't found this time. This was a perfect excuse to get in gear and get it done.

Here's info for the show straight from Dragatomi:

"Not Vinyl" ? But you're a vinyl toy store! You may be asking yourself this question so... let me explain what this is about.
This exhibit showcases lots of talented artists doing pieces that aren’t vinyl. It will feature resin, wood, glass, metal, etc… You get the picture.
Pieces for the show will be available on our website following the event. To sign up for our preview list, visit here.

Opening reception will be during the 2nd Saturday Art Walk on Saturday May 8^th at 7 p.m. and the show will run until June 1^st. So if you are going to be in the Sacramento area, make sure you stop by and check out the show.
